QBE North America has appointed Richard Dziadzio as CFO, while the company’s former UK and Ireland chairman Ray Cox has joined Ecclesiastical.

Mr Dziadzio arrives from specialty insurer ANV, which he joined as CFO last year. 

Before than he worked for Axa for 18 years, including spells as CFO and senior executive VP for Axa Equitable Life Insurance and Axa Financial.

Mr Cox has joined UK church and heritage insurer Ecclesiastical’s group management board.

He is a former UK CEO of Brit Insurance and UK director of underwriting and risk for Royal & SunAlliance.

Mr Cox says he will be responsible for “developing a consistent underwriting framework across Ecclesiastical and for strengthening the group’s underwriting capabilities across all its businesses, both in the UK and overseas”.
