Marsh’s Asia Pacific revenue grows 4% in Q3

Marsh’s Asia Pacific operations achieved underlying revenue growth of 4% to $US254 million ($353.87 million) in the September quarter.

The region outperformed the global broker’s worldwide underlying revenue growth of 3% from a year earlier to $2 billion ($2.79 billion).

Marsh & McLennan Companies say consolidated revenue in the third quarter was $US4 billion (5.57 billion), flat compared with the third quarter of 2019. Underlying revenue declined 1%.

Risk & Insurance Services revenue was $2.3 billion ($3.3 billion) in the third quarter, up 2%.

Guy Carpenter’s revenue in the third quarter was $US274 million ($381.73 million), flat on an underlying basis. Oliver Wyman’s revenue was $US480 million ($668.72 million) in the third quarter, a fall of 6%.

“Overall we are pleased with our third quarter and year-to-date results,” CFO Mark McGivney said. “We are on track to deliver a solid year despite the ongoing global pandemic.”
