Lockton welcomes insurance veteran to its ranks
Lockton, the world's largest, privately owned insurance brokerage, has named Mark Drummond-Brady as adviser to the senior international leadership team.
He will provide advice and counsel to support Lockton’s growth plans. Lockton has more than 9500 associates worldwide including 160 associates in Australia.
Mr Drummond-Brady, who will start on July 1, has a 40-year career in the insurance industry.
Most recently he was vice chair at Marsh where he played a role in the merger with the JLT Group, leaving the role last year. After serving in the British Army, Mr Drummond-Brady began his career as a broker at Hogg Robinson in 1981. He joined Lloyd Thompson Plc in 1987, ahead of the merger which created the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT Group).
“Mark is a leader in the insurance industry, having been at the forefront of it for nearly four decades,” Lockton International President Chris Brown said.
Mr Drummond-Brady says he looks forward to working closely with the executive team to maintain the momentum of ambitious growth plans.
“Lockton remains proudly independent and has retained its values, which sets it apart from many peers in the market and provides a solid foundation as the business continues to scale. I look forward to working closely with the executive team to maintain this momentum,” he said.
