Lloyd’s has appointed Jose Ribeiro as its new Director of International Markets and Business Development. He was formerly MD for Latin America for international broker Willis and a member of Willis International’s management team.

Mr Ribeiro will be responsible for promoting the market globally, seeking new business opportunities and monitoring the development of emerging markets.

He will manage Lloyd’s international operations in Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa and South America and will work alongside Sue Langley, the newly appointed Director of Market Operations and North America.
