Jump online for Dive In 2020

Insurance’s annual global diversity and inclusion festival Dive In will be held online for the first time in September.

Festival organisers expect to reach an even wider global audience as events are held virtually, with the 2020 theme of “Local Voice, Global Impact.’

Lloyd’s London-based Global Inclusion & Diversity Manager Marc McKenna-Coles, who leads Dive In, says it is more important than ever that development of inclusive workplace cultures remains on the agenda and “is not left behind.”

“Dive In will be taking place in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and offices all around the world,” Mr McKenna-Coles said. “We hope this year’s festival will provide insight and information, but equally some much-needed light relief and something to look forward to after months in lockdown.”

Taking place from September 22 to 24, the festival is now in its sixth year and saw its highest turnout in 2019 with 32 countries and more than 10,000 attendees taking part in over 130 events.

This year, events will take place in Scandinavia for the first time as well as more countries in Latin America.

Particular focus will be given this year to the shared experience of a global lockdown and its impact on diversity and inclusion and issues such as gender equality and neurodiversity.

The festival is backed by AIG, Aon, Aviva, CNA, DLA Piper, Kennedys, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh & Guy Carpenter, MS Amlin, RenaissanceRe, RMS, Travelers, Tokio Marine Kiln and Willis Towers Watson.

Festival tickets will be available here from the end of July.
