Heath Lambert becomes Gallagher Heath following takeover

UK broker Heath Lambert has changed its name to Gallagher Heath following its acquisition by Arthur J Gallagher & Co for £97 million ($144.7 million) in May.

Arthur J Gallagher International CEO David Ross says the rebranding shows clients the two companies are stronger together.

Arthur J Gallagher has operated in the UK primarily as a wholesale broker and bought Heath Lambert to expand its international retail operations. Gallagher says it will use the UK company to expand its broker ranks through recruitment and mergers.
