Hollywood actors have been known to take out unique insurance policies for physical assets like their faces, bottoms, and legs – but now the Italians have taken insurance one step further.

According to London's Daily Telegraph, an Italian insurer and a chain of hair care clinics have developed a “hair policy” to insure against baldness. The policy is available to anyone between 15 and 70, and costs a not inconsiderable £220 a year.

Payouts for thinning pates are capped at £5300, depending on the amount of hair loss between when the policyholder takes out the cover and when the claim is filed.
