David Priebe, the Vice Chairman of diversified reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, has been appointed Chairman with immediate effect.

He will report to President and CEO Peter Hearn.

New York-based Mr Priebe has been with the company since 1981.

Mr Hearn says he is a “true client champion and has dedicated his career to helping Guy Carpenter identify client needs and develop and deliver solutions that help them profitably grow”.
