Guy Carpenter Head of Asia-Pacific James Nash has been appointed President of the group’s new international division.

He will continue reporting to President and CEO Peter Hearn, and will relocate to London.

The division will cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific operations.

Mr Hearn says the division will improve Guy Carpenter’s ability to apply best practice around the world and deliver “a consistently compelling global client experience”.

Mr Nash, who joined the reinsurance broker in 1985, says he is looking forward to delivering “market-leading solutions” to clients.

Mr Hearn says Mr Nash’s “deep industry relationships and global operating experience” make him the ideal executive for the role.

A new head of Guy Carpenter Asia-Pacific has yet to be announced.
