No 4 US broker Arthur J Gallagher will merge two of its US reinsurance broking subsidiaries. The result will be Gallagher Re, an amalgamation of subsidiaries Arthur J Gallagher Intermediaries and John P Woods.

Headed by Randall Jensen, President of Arthur J Gallagher Intermediaries, the new operation will place the company in a better position to compete among the larger insurance brokers.
