Major US insurance software developer and e-commerce solutions group Ebix had a strong 2004 globally, with net income rising 35% to $US3.12 million.

President and CEO Robin Raina attributed the company’s strong results to “balancing long-term growth investments in areas such as infrastructure, R&D for new products and services”.
