Dallas hailstorm could cost insurers $US2 billion
Insured losses from a hailstorm that hit Dallas, Texas, last week could reach as much as $US2 billion ($1.98 billion), making it one of the most costly storms in US history.
The Southwestern Insurance Information Service says baseball-sized hailstones smashed car windscreens and damaged roofs and signs, although there were no serious injuries.
The storm hit at 6pm as many people were driving home.
