Global claims Crawford & Company has promoted Rohit Verma to the top CEO role while Joseph Blanco, the company’s current general counsel, steps into the role of President.

Harsha Agadi, who has been CEO and President for five years, will remain on the board as a director.

Atlanta-based Mr Verma, who is currently COO, joined the company three years ago after more than a decade at Zurich Insurance.

Mr Blanco, who was formerly managing partner at an Atlanta law firm, has spent almost four years at Crawford. He will report to Mr Verma and be responsible for all shared services functions in the company, with the exception of the CFO role.
