Chubb names new Asia-Pacific president in senior shake-up

Chubb has promoted Paul McNamee to Regional President Asia-Pacific and announced other senior appointments that will take effect later this year.

Mr McNamee is currently Deputy Regional President and EVP Commercial Property and Casualty for Asia-Pacific.

In his new position he will oversee the general management and business results for all operations.

Markets under his watch will include Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Mr McNamee takes over from Juan Luis Ortega, who has been named Regional President Latin America.

Senior VP and Regional President Latin America Jorge Luis Cazar is promoted to Division President International Accident and Health, taking over from Edward Levin, who will occupy the new position of Digital Business Officer.

Mr Cazar will be responsible for Chubb’s international personal accident, supplemental health and travel insurance business in 51 markets outside North America.
