Chartis reshuffles senior management team

Chartis has replaced its global CEO and divided the business into two groups – consumer and commercial.

The new CEO is Peter Hancock, who was previously AIG Executive Vice President Finance, Risks and Investments.

He replaces Kristian Moor, who has become Chartis’ Vice Chairman. The new global consumer division will be run by Jeffrey Hayman, who is currently Chartis’ Chief Administrative Officer.

John Doyle, who was previously the US CEO of Chartis, will run the commercial division.

Both divisions will share back-office services such as claims, actuarial and underwriting.

Australian operations will still report to Chartis Far East, which continues to be run by Jose Hernandez.
