Arthur J Gallagher is raising $US200 million ($212.85 million), with the funds earmarked for further acquisitions and general costs.

Earlier this month the US broker and risk management company completed the acquisition of UK-based Giles Group of Companies and announced it had bought an employee benefits group and a broker and benefits company, both from the US.
