Aon revenue flat over Q3
Aon’s third-quarter results have failed to improve on last year, with total revenue at $US1.8 billion ($1.82 billion).
In the company’s risk and insurance brokerage services revenue was similar to the previous year’s third quarter at $US1.5 billion ($1.52 billion). The global broker recorded a 2% increase from acquisitions, offset by a 1% unfavourable impact from foreign currency levels and a 1% organic decline in commissions and fees.
Aon President and CEO Greg Case described the results as “solid” in a challenging global economy.
“We are excited about the recently completed merger of Hewitt with Aon Consulting, which substantially strengthens our position as the pre-eminent global professional services firm focused on risk and people,” he said.
