Allianz Commercial global head of financial lines Vanessa Maxwell has taken on an additional role as global head of cyber, effective immediately.

She will report to chief underwriting officer Shanil Williams.

“This organisational structure reflects the strategic importance of both products to Allianz Commercial, as well as the connection between both financial lines and cyber in the wider insurance market,” the company said.

Scott Sayce, Allianz’s former global cyber head, has left to join underwriting agency Dual. He will start there on September 1 as emerging products head.
