Hyperion Insurance Group has appointed Talbir Bains as CEO of Dual, the world’s largest international underwriting agency.

Mr Bains has held the role on an interim basis since last October, when Shane Doyle left the company after two years. Prior to joining Dual Mr Doyle was CEO of Zurich Australia. 

Mr Bains joined Dual from QBE last April as CUO. He recently finalised capacity for the $300 million gross written premium financial lines section of Dual’s new international treaty structure.
