Ace Group has promoted Blain Waterford to the new position of VP and Deputy Head of Accident and Health in Asia-Pacific.

The former COO for Korea will relocate to Singapore from Seoul next month, with his new role covering Australia and New Zealand.

Ace says the appointment shores up its efforts to expand share in the region’s growing accident and health market.

Mr Waterford will oversee direct marketing, telemarketing, mobile assurance, hybrid products and data analytics. He will report to Senior VP and Head of Accident and Health in Asia-Pacific Glen Browne.
