Open hitches a ride with EV maker
Hollard-backed Open Insurance has partnered with electric car maker CUPRA Australia to offer cover on the Volkswagen subsidiary’s sales platform.
“Our tech empowers CUPRA to offer tailored coverage at key moments along the customer journey – from financing to checkout – seamlessly integrating insurance where it fits naturally,” Open said.
“Our sophisticated analytics and data-driven approach ensures customers get personalised offers at the right time, making insurance a smooth part of the ownership experience.”
Barcelona-based CUPRA launched in 2018 and arrived in Australia in 2022. It says it has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing car brands, with more than 230,000 vehicles delivered last year.
Open provides white label car, home and travel insurance for brands including Bupa, ahm, Polestar and Telstra, and operates across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
