NEOS Life has completed its upgrade of Ebix OneOffice, a software platform for the life insurance industry.

OneOffice comes complete with end-to-end functionality from new business through to claims, an adviser portal and can be fully integrated with a third-party underwriting rules engine.

“The opportunity to upgrade OneOffice was a big decision for us,” NEOS Chief Digital & Implementation Officer Allen Iu said.

“The benefits of an end-to-end, Microsoft-based OneOffice solution satisfied our desires for future growth, flexibility and speed.”

Mr Iu says Ebix allowed for a unique blend of project execution, which saw close collaboration with the NEOS data and digital teams.

“This integrated approach dramatically reduced the risk of execution, shortening our time to market and lowering the build costs,” he said. “Our joint delivery team and their culture of excellence gave us confidence, and we are delighted with the results.”

Ebix Australia VP Philip Fourie says NEOS has taken “a significant step towards continuing to provide relevant and valuable technological solutions to today's advisers”.

Ebix says its OneOffice platform is highly configurable and can be implemented to support a vast range of product and servicing models.

It provides secure web-based access to advisers, third party sales functions, customers and re-insurers that has traditionally only been available to back office administrators.
