JAVLN acquires smart document business in Melbourne
Auckland-based JAVLN has acquired Melbourne-based Technosoft Solutions, which offers document management and workflow software, including its flagship OfficeTech product.
Technosoft Solutions enables around 300 brokers and underwriters throughout Australia and New Zealand to better manage electronic files and team workflow.
The acquisition boosts JAVLN’s technology and support team, and its ability to provide an end-to-end solution for brokers and underwriters.
All staff are based in Melbourne and will be offered roles within JAVLN, including co-founder Irene Kendall, who says smart document management is part of digitally transforming policy processes – vital to the ability of brokers to manage cost and regulatory pressures.
JAVLN founder and CEO Dale Smith says adding OfficeTech to the platform gives brokers and underwriters productivity and compliance benefits.
“I am delighted to welcome Irene’s team and the respected OfficeTech brand to our business as we build a stronger Australian presence,” Mr Smith said.
JAVLN offers a secure cloud-based policy management platform accessible on any device. Last month, it acquired the Underwriter Central business from Steadfast as the insurtech seeks to increase its scale.
