Insurtech Australia has announced new partnerships with Finity Consulting, 4impact Group and RegTech Association.

Finity and 4impact, an Australian-owned consulting and technology services company, join as Ecosystem Partners. The RegTech Association joins as a Community Partner.

IA also welcomed new members Koverd, Haizea Analytics and Descartes Underwriting Australia.

Koverd is an online platform, Haizea’s platform analyses huge high-resolution satellite and climate data sets in real-time, to assess risk and customise products to precise locations, and Descartes specialises in climate risk modelling and data-driven risk transfer.

Insurtech Australia, which is undertaking a search to fill a newly created role of Partnership Manager, also congratulated Sydney-based Reask for securing its first round of capital raising with support from Chinese tech giant Tencent and other Silicon Valley investors, boosting its ambition to be a key natural catastrophe modeller using artificial intelligence.
