Insurtech Australia welcomes new members Mrty, RETJA
Insurance startups Mrty and RETJA are the latest Insurtech Australia members.
Auckland-based Mrty offers insurance brokers the ability to reduce overheads associated with claims processes, while increasing speed and transparency of claims for customers.
Darwin-based RETJA analyses insurance policy language, comparing coverage across a variety of insurance carriers to ensure transparency, accuracy and simplicity. Co-founder and CEO Jasmin Flori-Hess formerly spent a decade at UBS and its Advisory Board also includes seasoned insurance executives.
"We're looking forward to both becoming part of the growing Insurtech Australia community,” IA said.
The IA team attended ITC Vegas last month and says it was “jam-packed with events, addresses, panel discussions, networking, catchups and collaborations”.
ITC attendees were on October 30 introduced to the IA delegation, which included Codafication Covertech Australia, daisee, handdii, Kanopi, Reask, Red Planet Software and Simfuni.
“It was a successful evening – the room was packed, conversations flowed, and it was a great kick-off to the main ITC Vegas event. Our thanks go out to Lead Sponsor QBE Ventures and our Market Development partner Austrade – we appreciate their support and guidance to our delegates.
"It was great to see such a great bunch of delegates supporting each other on the other side of the world in the advancement of insurtech.”
Codafication was one of five finalists at Guidewire's Insurtech Vanguard Pitch Day.
This month, IA is offering an early bird discount to InsurtechLIVE24, to be held in Sydney on February 13. Buy tickets here.
