Insurtech Australia is hosting an environmental, social and governance (ESG) event on August 24 for the sector.

The “Insurtech and ESG” discussion will feature Jacki Johnson who will provide insight into how insurtechs should be considering their ESG responsibilities as they grow.

Ms Johnson held senior roles over two decades at IAG, and was United Nations Environment Financial Initiative Co-Chair from 2017 to 2021 and founding Co-Chair of the Australia Sustainable Finance Initiative.

Marsh Head of Strategic Risk Consulting Nicholas Martin, Vellum Australia Managing Partner Binuo Erth, Munich Re Senior Manager Climate Risks Tobias Grimm and Insurtech Gateway Australia MD Simon O’Dell will also appear on the panel, to be moderated by Insurtech Gateway Australia Strategic Engagement & Investor Relations head Danica Bunch.
