Insurtech Assessmate onboards first users of its AI home assessments

Melbourne-based insurtech Assessmate says it effortlessly captures home assessments in either voice or video format, uploads them and compiles a comprehensive, multi-page assessment report in just a few minutes using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Assessmate is currently onboarding insurers, loss adjusters and repairers in Queensland, NSW, and Victoria for final testing before a formal launch.

Assessmate’s features include policy decision advice with citations and references, fraud detection, specialised reporting recommendations, claim tagging as sensitive for appropriate handling, loss schedule creation with detailed measurements, and standard insurance assessment.

“We've been absolutely thrilled to see the enthusiasm from the insurance and construction industry, demonstrating the immense potential that AI holds for transforming our work,” Founder Trevor Forward said.

“The wave of interest was truly humbling. Congratulations to all who will be joining us on this exciting journey as we reimagine the future of home insurance assessments. We’re eager to see Assessmate.ai in action, working to drive efficiency and accuracy in your operations.”

Mr Forward founded ClaimTools, which specialises in developing AI-driven applications tailored for insurance companies, builders, contractors, and repairers.
