IA to host London networking event

Insurtech Australia will lead a delegation of nine start-ups to Britain and is inviting industry professionals to a networking event at Australia House in London on March 18.

The insurtechs are Appsure, Blue Zebra Insurance, Entsia, Grappler.io, Haast, Prime Ecosystem, Revealr, Sentro and ZapCentral.

“We are delighted to kick off Insurtech Week in London with an unmissable networking reception at the prestigious Australia House on the Strand,” the industry body said. “This is a unique opportunity to connect and collaborate with senior insurance, government and insurtech executives.”

The event is supported by Austrade and QBE Ventures. The latter’s CEO James Orchard, who moved from Sydney to London about a year ago, will attend.

Appsure uses artificial intelligence to enhance pricing strategies, product rules and operational efficiencies; Blue Zebra’s platform allows application programming interface integration for customers and third-party data providers; Entsia says it is “changing the way insurers reach their markets” through an end-to-end digital platform; Grappler.io specialises in the automatic reconciliation of payments and trust accounting requirements; Haast uses artificial intelligence to identify compliance issues, reviewing drafts and monitoring digital channels; Prime Ecosystem connects builders, restorers, insurer trades and adjusters; Revealr digitalises insurance documentation; Auckland-based Sentro’s group insurance platform integrates experiences for insured members, employers, brokers and insurers; and ZapCentral allows intermediaries to seamlessly connect with insurers and third parties.
