IA lands in Singapore; welcomes new members Velit, Fat Zebra

Insurtech Australia (IA) has welcomed Velit Solutions and Fat Zebra as its latest members and says the IA team and a delegation of nine are preparing to host a networking event in Singapore tonight at InsureTech Connect Asia, showcasing opportunities for collaboration.

The delegation attending the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre includes Mapizy, Advisr, SyncTech, Numerisk, Autograb, Prooftec, Autoreviewa, Friss and Stelvio Australia’s EstImage.

“The IA team and their delegation of members and partners are currently arriving in Singapore, ready for a busy few days meeting, connecting, networking and learning,” IA posted on LinkedIn today.

“The week kicks off with this evening's IA networking event. We’d like to thank our market development partner Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and platinum partner QBE Ventures, who have both worked long and hard alongside us.”

IA CEO Simone Dossetor says Australian insurtechs offer a valuable contribution and capability to the Asian insurtech sector, and the nine IA members will look to scale there.

New IA member Velit, based in Brisbane, specialises in software solutions to serve the insurance industry, from customer to insurer to vendor, and says its mission is to revolutionise the insurance industry by empowering insurance providers with innovative, ever adaptive technology solutions.

“We strive to provide our clients with truly best-in-class software that streamlines insurance processes, reduces costs, improves efficiency, and ultimately enhances customer experience,” it said.
