HDI’s international arm to use genAI
HDI Global is rolling out a proprietary generative AI tool across its international programs division.
The insurer has more than 5100 international programs on its books, and COO Thomas Kuhnt says genAI is a “powerful co-pilot” bringing “enormous” benefits.
“We are now in the implementation phase," he said. “Our customers enjoy the benefits of even more agile and transparent support.”
The genAI tool draws on HDI databases containing country information and insurance provisions from thousands of local policy entries.
It provides automated proposals to customer enquiries that encompass country-specific compliance standards, required documents and recommended process flows.
“This enables HDI Global to handle international programs for its customers even more efficiently and quickly” while meeting data protection and business confidentiality requirements, the insurer says.
HDI’s international programs team negotiates conditions on a centralised basis. It says multinational corporations benefit from uniform insurance standards and central management, while local compliance requirements are observed.
