Growing Entsia hires HR chief at ‘pivotal time’

Entsia has appointed Lisa Street as head of people and culture.

The insurtech says it has grown its customer base by 85% and its workforce by 45% since last year, and annual gross written premium has passed $1.5 billion.

Operating in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, Entsia plans to expand further overseas next year.

“I’m thrilled to step into the role of head of people and culture at Entsia at such an exciting point of growth for us,” Sydney-based Ms Street said. “We’ll shape the future of the insurtech industry and create a workplace where every idea can thrive.”

The appointment comes after Eleanor Doherty was made head of marketing in April.

“Lisa and Eleanor have joined at a pivotal time for Entsia and their leadership will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth and innovation,” said the distribution and administration platform’s founder Alistair McElligott.
