Fusion, HDI take partnership into US
Fusion Specialty has expanded its partnership with HDI Global Specialty to the US.
Fusion executive chairman David Rogers says HDI has partnered with his company since it launched in Australia, as it expanded to Europe last year, and now as it moves into the Americas.
The new agreement adds representation and warranty, tax and contingent insurance capacity.
“The addition of HDI to our Fusion Americas panel of insurers completes the global partnership between HDI and all of Fusion’s hubs,” he said.
Fusion, established in 2018, says it has underwritten more merger and acquisition deals than any other insurer across the Asia-Pacific region since 2019. It now has offices in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Britain, Germany, Spain and the US.
HDI Global US CEO Jim Clark says the expanded partnership “reinforces our reputation as a key player in transactional risk insurance”.
