Five start-ups to pitch at InsurtechLIVE
Insurtech Australia has named the five start-ups competing in a pitch competition at this year’s InsurtechLIVE.
ImpairEX, Lodgicl, myVal, Powour and Raindrop will face off at the February 18 conference.
SA-based ImpairEX says its app and platform InjuryEX helps stakeholders the fields of workers’ compensation and motor vehicle injuries.
Sydney-based Lodgicl aims to cut the time, cost and complexity of home insurance claim assessments.
myVal, also based in Sydney, is a “virtual vault” that uses AI to document valuables, and fellow Sydney insurtech Powour automates reporting of transport emissions to make it “easy, measurable and rewarding to take action for a cleaner and sustainable future”.
NT-based Raindrop uses technology to “transform intricate insurance language into clear, actionable insights”. Its product includes standardisation, policy meaning analysis, visual comparisons and regulatory updates.
Past InsurtechLIVE pitch winners include Haast and Sync Tech, which both went on to secure partnerships with insurers and win other awards.
“We see this as a real opportunity to accelerate the journey for the winner, following in the success of past winners in bringing emerging technology to the insurance sector,” Insurtech Australia CEO Simone Dossetor said.
InsurtechLIVE will be at Doltone House in Sydney. Registrations close on February 12 or when venue capacity is reached. Tickets are available here.
