DXC Invitational pitch night to be held tomorrow

A pitch night for finalists in DXC Technology’s 2023 DXC Invitational will be held in Sydney tomorrow evening, and live streamed.

Insurtech Australia, DXC Technology and UTS Startups will together host the event at 5.30pm AEDT at UTS Start-ups at Central, 3 Broadway Ultimo, or on LinkedIn.

Each competition finalist will make a pitch related to either improving the insurance value chain, or integration into the DXC Insurance Software Suite.

“There will be leading startups and scaleups presenting the latest innovations focused on tackling some of the biggest challenges facing the insurance industry,” the organisers say.

The 17 finalists are 3motionAI, Staunch Technology, FEFO Consulting, Metluma, Knowby, LeapForward, Moodflx, INSILLION, Agiliux Cloud Insurance, Airdocs, revealr, EasySend, Evari, Entsia, HumanableCX, Works Platform, and Curium.

Two winning teams will receive an invitation to partner with DXC globally, gain access to DXC’s customers and deploy their solution across regions.

DXC aims to discover solutions that improve customer experience, increase efficiencies, and support compliance across the distribution value chain and lifecycle of a policy, including prevention and claims management.

The competition, now in its fifth year, started in Australia and has this year been expanded to take entries from countries across the Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East and Africa region.

Past winners include BodyGuide, an app that creates personalised and practical programs to help solve and prevent pain, E5 Workflow, Daisee, which scores phone calls to insurers on compliance and conduct using machine learning, People Diagnostix, and Sydney-based wellbeing data expert Springday, which DXC both uses internally and offers to clients.
