Dive In session to explore use of AI in workplace diversity
AIG, Marsh and NYSE-listed DXC Technology will present a session next month exploring whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help drive the push towards more diverse and inclusive workforces.
Research shows AI can increase productivity, reduce costs and improve the customer experience, and the trio want to explore whether it can also impact upon variety in the workplace.
The session is part of the Dive In diversity and inclusion in insurance festival, which is now open for 2021 registrations. Taking place worldwide from September 21-23, the theme this year is “Active Allyship”.
AIG, Marsh and DXC will present their session at 10.30am AEST on Thursday September 23. It is entitled “The AI Influence: How Will Technology Shape the Future Ally?,” and will be available virtually.
“Join us as we explore whether technology is enhancing allyship culture or moving us too far away from the value of human connection,” the registration page says.
“Through engaging speaker stories, interesting case studies and audience polls, we will dive into the use of AI and other emerging technologies in workplace Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.”
It says participants can expect to “come away with some new insights on this fast-moving topic and a strong understanding of how you can utilise AI technology in your own allyship journey”.
In another virtual session at 8am AEST on Tuesday September 21, AIG NZ CEO Toni Ferrier, Marsh NZ Country Manager Josh Roach and Wotton & Kearney Managing Partner Antony Holden will present “How remote/hybrid working can help and/or harm organisational D&I”.
Last year’s virtual Dive In attracted a record-breaking 30,000 participants and this year’s festival will take on a hybrid format, with more than 100 virtual or physical events across over 30 countries.
Full details about events and speakers are at the Dive In website and will later be available to rewatch on the Videoflex platform.
