Insurtech Butter has started offering travel insurance, the business announced in a brief LinkedIn post.

“A lot of you asked for this, so here it is. A simple, customisable and accessible travel policy,” the post said.

Butter's travel insurance is administered by Battleface Insurance Services and is underwritten by Pacific International Insurance, according to its website.

The insurtech launched more than a year ago, offering subscription cover for nominated possessions such as smartphones, ear pods, watches and laptops.
