Building assessment firm joins Guidewire advocacy scheme
Sync Technologies Australia, which seeks to streamline building assessment processes and claims handling, has joined the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards innovation program.
Through the program, insurance cloud platform Guidewire provides guidance and advocates for insurtechs with novel solutions, while connecting them with its property and casualty customers.
“Being part of this program means access to valuable insights and resources, further accelerating our growth,” Sync Technologies CEO and co-founder Carolina Dreifuss said.
“Our focus is on helping insurers tackle key challenges, leveraging our technologies to streamline operations. We look forward to contributing practical solutions that add real value to the industry and solidify our role as a leader in the Australian insurtech market.”
Guidewire Chief Evangelist Laura Drabik says Sync Technologies’ involvement in the Insurtech Vanguard program comes at a key time, with many property and casualty customers dealing with outcomes from the parliamentary inquiry into the industry’s handling of the 2022 floods.
“What makes Sync Technologies’ approach unique is how it seamlessly blends different technologies into a single solution that delivers immediate impacts in the claims process,” she said.
The insurtech assists with the assessment of buildings, rooftops and facades from a desktop, improving collaboration and efficiency for claims managers, loss adjusters and insurance contractors. The technology reduces claim assessment times and costs, it says.
