BodyGuide, E5 Workflow win DXC Invitational
The winners of the 2022 DXC Invitational insurtech competition in Asia Pacific have been announced.
The Enriching the Insurance Experience category winner was BodyGuide, an app that creates personalised and practical programs to help solve and prevent pain.
E5 Workflow won the Digital Insurance Ecosystem prize.
This year, DXC collaborated with Insurtech Australia and UTS Startups to run the competition. The judging panel included TAL Chief Information & Innovation Officer Fiona Macgregor, Fidelity Life Chief Sales Officer Bronwyn Kirwan and ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford.
Insurtech Australia CEO Simone Dossetor says it is exciting to see the diversity of solutions insurtech start-ups and scale-ups presented to leaders of the insurance industry, “solving a range of problems through emerging technology and striving to create better outcomes for insurance customers”.
"Insurtech Australia is delighted to be a part of this year’s competition and to see the support DXC offers to insurtechs locally and globally,” she said.
Founder Matthew Green tells insuranceNEWS.com.au BodyGuide is “incredibly excited” to be working alongside DXC.
“With the support of DXC, we are in a strong position to scale our solutions globally, building a future where everyone has the skills to self-care for their bodies,” he said.
The DXC Invitational identifies insurtechs that improve customer experience, increase efficiency and support compliance across a policy, including prevention and claims management. DXC Regional GM Insurance Asia Pacific Michael Neary says every 2022 entry demonstrated the “potential innovation that can be achieved” in the sector.
“The insurance industry is undergoing a state of transformation with insurers looking for innovative solutions to improve overall customer experience and engagement,” he said.
