Ardonagh tech division to share expertise worldwide
The Ardonagh Group has launched a technology arm it says will harness the best of robotics, machine learning and data enrichment across its businesses.
Group CEO David Ross says the UK-based company has “built a sophisticated engine to manage our $US18 billion ($28.53 billion) of gross written premium”.
The Ardonagh Intelligence division offers a “single view” of data and tech capabilities across the international broking group, which employs more than 100 data scientists and programmers.
It will bring expertise developed in Europe to its commercial brokers across the world.
“The further you wade into the global data lake we have assembled over the past six years, the more boundless the opportunities become to deliver efficiencies for our portfolio of companies, and extraordinary benefit to the millions of clients they serve,” Mr Ross said.
By uniting its technology development work, Ardonagh says it can support local leaders with a “road map” that will have an “immediate and tangible impact on everything from improving productivity to identifying risk insights and growth opportunities”.
The unit’s MD, Sami Sulaiman, who joined Ardonagh in October following its acquisition of PSC Insurance Group, says data-driven insights and AI automation “make the difference between a good business and an exceptional one”.
“By bringing together our global capabilities we can extend the reach of that expertise and power it to go further and deeper,” he said.
