Institute to host AI panel discussion
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance’s general insurance breakfast will explore the benefits and limitations of artificial intelligence in the industry.
Marsh chief claims officer Catherine Osborne, IAG EGM Tim Rafton, Steadfast director of emerging technology Steven Tuften and SENSEMAP director Brett Rutledge will discuss innovative applications of the technology. The panel will cover the future of generative AI in risk management, and considerations around privacy, data security and regulations that will impact AI’s use in insurance.
ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks says the session is an opportunity for insurance professionals to stay ahead in the evolving AI landscape.
“Generative AI is at the forefront of our minds as we begin to navigate what its applications could be for insurance businesses,” she said.
The breakfast is on December 4 at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park.
