Vero risk tool promotes brokers as trusted advisers
Vero says a Risk Profiler tool it has launched will help brokers assist their clients and contribute to building stronger relationships with SMEs as trusted advisers.
The tool was developing following insights from the Vero 2019 SME Index, which identified that brokers who provide risk profiling and management services are 72% more likely to win that SME’s trust.
The research also indicated that less than a quarter of SMEs currently see their brokers as trusted advisers.
“The Risk Profiler tool helps to bridge this gap by providing action-orientated advice to help clients reduce key insurance risks relevant to their industry,” Vero EGM Andrew Mair said.
“Accessible online by any device, the tool is intuitive to navigate and features clean and simple information for brokers to present directly to their clients.”
Suncorp’s Vero last week won the National Insurance Brokers Association Large General Insurer of the Year award.
Mr Mair said recent initiatives by the insurer also included a refreshed subscription-style learning platform and a professional development experience and alumni group.
“There is real positive momentum for Vero at the moment,” he said.
The relaunched Suncorp Learning Campus provides a learning platform that offers access to more than 1000 on-demand CPD accredited training courses.
