Tracy Green has been appointed to the new role of Group Executive Insurance at RACQ, reporting to CEO David Carter.

Ms Green has already spent almost 12 months acting in the role. She was formerly RACQ’s GM Insurance Product and Pricing based in Brisbane, where she managed the underwriting and pricing of product portfolios, oversaw new insurance initiatives and product development, and supported RACQ Insurance’s partner engagement model.

“Although I’m currently working virtually from my home office in Cairns, I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by a great team, which I look forward to leading,” Ms Green said.

Prior to RACQ, Ms Green spent eight years at IAG in Sydney, the last two as EGM Customer & Underwriting, and also held senior roles during a 5-year stint at Suncorp after early-career positions at TIO and NRMA Insurance.

RACQ would work with governments and industry to identify better ways to support the Club’s 1.8 million members and the wider Queensland community become more resilient to natural disasters, she said.
