A free webinar will be held on Wednesday exploring the issue of collaboration in claims management.

Hosted by Insurance News and sponsored by Vero, the session features a panel comprising Vero’s national manager of claims relationships Michael Knight and leader of commercial property claims Claudia Andretti-Quintal, alongside McLardy McShane claims manager Anna Capone.

The webinar, moderated by Insurance News editor-in-chief John Deex, will examine why strong communication is essential for effective insurer-broker claims relationships, particularly when managing complex claims.

It will examine the role of omnichannel communication in enhancing engagement, and the positives and negatives of technology. 

The panel will provide practical strategies for brokers to expedite claims, explore how to leverage technology and share ideas for strengthening insurer-broker relationships. 

Ms Andretti-Quintal believes technology will enable real-time updates and quicker notifications, and allow more transparency and visibility on claims, which will in turn help reduce delays and keep brokers updated. But it also has its limits.

“While technology will drive efficiencies, it will never replace the engagement and relationship between a broker and insurer,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
