Steadfast has appointed Kasun Jayaratne to a newly created role in its broker and insurer services division as it moves to expand the business.

Mr Jayaratne will serve as Australian network GM for broker, risk and insurer services, overseeing the division’s offerings and guiding relationships within the local broking market.

He joined Steadfast in May last year, working closely with COO Nigel Fitzgerald as head of strategic execution. He will now report to broker and insurer services Australasian networks EGM Nick Cook.

Steadfast has also announced that Bronwyn Brownlee will join the broker and insurer services team as risk services national client service manager. She has more than two decades’ industry experience, including significant time at WTW.

The group will also incorporate its education and compliance team, Goldseal, into the division.

Compliance and customer experience EGM Sheila Baker, who leads Goldseal, will continue in her role and report to Mr Cook.

Steadfast MD and CEO Robert Kelly says the division’s changes represent “a natural alignment” and the “next piece of the puzzle as we form a dynamic, holistic team who are solely focused on providing the best insurance and risk solutions to the Australasian broker markets”.
