Service for Gallagher’s Tania O’Day will be live-streamed
A service will take place tomorrow for Melbourne-based Gallagher National Strategic Partnerships Manager Tania O’Day, who died last week following a long illness.
While the 10am event is private due to COVID-19 restrictions, those who wish to attend virtually are welcome to do so by clicking here for a live stream.
As reported on Monday, Gallagher has launched an annual award in honour of Ms O’Day, and many people have left tributes to the hugely popular and respected insurance professional on the insuranceNEWS.com.au LinkedIn page.
She had worked in the Australian insurance industry for 22 years, including the past six years with Gallagher. She had previously spent more than a decade at Marsh.
She is survived by her husband Anthony, and was a personal friend of Gallagher Australia CEO Sarah Lyons.
“Tania’s passing marks the loss of a colleague and friend who was a genuine team player and a great supporter of everyone she came in contact with,” Ms Lyons said.
“On a personal note, Tan was a close friend and colleague and someone I will miss terribly.
“She always made an effort to help people and in doing so brought much joy, laughter and the offer of friendship to all. There are not many people in this world like Tania, and I am honoured to have known her.”
The annual Tania O’Day Award will recognise courage and resilience by Gallagher staff.
