QBE has been named Insurer of the Year and NTI the Underwriting Agency of the Year in the Insurance Advisernet awards.

A virtual presentation was watched by around 450 authorised representatives (ARs) and industry partners, last night with many people watching at gatherings organised across the country to coincide with the awards event.

“We feel it important to recognise our partners and ARs even though we once again weren’t able to hold our annual conference this year,” MD Shaun Standfield said today.

Mr Standfield says he looks forward to bringing everyone back together when the next annual conference is held at the Gold Coast.

Insurance Advisernet says its conference next year is scheduled for October 24-26, after the last in-person conference and awards event was held in 2019.

Overall Practice of the Year (joint winners) – Astute Insurance Services, BurMac Financial Services
