QBE hunts for next claims chief as Fox departs
QBE’s Jon Fox will step down as Australia Pacific chief claims officer at the end of the year “to explore new opportunities”.
Mr Fox has held the role for eight years, and was previously GM at Elders Insurance. He is a former chairman of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
“Jon is a widely respected leader, and we thank him for his contributions and wish him well for the future,” a QBE spokesperson told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
MD consumer Julie Starley becomes interim chief claims officer in addition to her current role.
“Recruitment for Jon’s successor has commenced,” the spokesperson added.
