Pen Underwriting says Alicia Stell has joined as Transport Team Manager with immediate effect, taking over from Jenny Prendergast, who retired last month after 16 years with the business.

Ms Stell was previously motor fleet underwriter with National Transport Insurance (NTI), a position she held for four years, according to her LinkedIn account. Prior to NTI, she was senior motor fleet underwriter at Zurich.

She brings to Pen Underwriting more than 20 years' experience in motor fleet underwriting and is well known in the transport sector, particularly in Sydney/NSW.

“We are delighted to welcome [Ms Stell], who brings vast underwriting knowledge and experience, along with deep market knowledge,” CEO Ken Keenan said. “She will also be a great fit with the Pen team and culture.”

Ms Stell will be based in Pen’s Sydney office.
