NIBA crowns top SA/NT brokers
Pillar Brokerage director Will Laundy has been named this year’s National Insurance Brokers Association broker of the year for SA/NT.
The region’s young broker award winner is Aon client manager Lachlan Birrell, the association announced today at a gala lunch at Adelaide Oval.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin says the winners show the depth of talent in the profession.
“The awards are an excellent platform to celebrate the achievements of the standout talent. I congratulate all the finalists for their commitment to professionalism and wish Lachlan and Will the best of luck for the upcoming national awards,” he said.
Today’s announcement completes the list of 10 regional winners who will compete for national honours, to be handed out at the NIBA Convention in Adelaide in October.
Matthew Bates, Chelsey Harris, Kieran Volpe and Abbie Wilson are the other regional brokers of the year.
Emily-Rose Srbinovska, Nikita Willis, Jodie Krafft and Steven Richards are the other young brokers of the year.
Darren Virgo from broker award sponsor CGU says Mr Laundy “has been recognised for his dedication to client advocacy and technical excellence, and we at CGU look forward to seeing what he achieves next”.
Karen Thomas from young broker award sponsor Vero says Mr Birrell has built an impressive career with a focus on client advocacy and professional growth.
“His commitment to high standards and community involvement is commendable. Brokers like Lachlan are the reason that Vero has been a proud supporter of NIBA’s young professionals for more than three decades.”
