Global claims services provider McLarens has appointed Andrew Brooke as MD of its New Zealand business after Dean Garrod stepped down last month.

Mr Brooke will also manage Mode Project Solutions, McLarens’ building consultancy that offers services such as quantity surveying and reinstatement works.

He is an insurance industry professional with more than 30 years’ experience and joined the business in 1996, most recently working as executive general adjuster, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“Andrew has been integral to our business in New Zealand ... As such, he knows the market, the business and, most importantly, our clients inside out,” McLarens Australasia Regional Director Martyn Wicht said. “He has been involved in several high-profile and major losses across New Zealand and is well placed to lead the team and the business forward.”
